Are You Photogenic?

Good Morning One And All!

If you haven't already, you'll notice I don't have a photo of myself up on my blog, yet. It's not because I don't intend to put one, it's because I haven't an updated (or one that I'd like to put up) available at this time. I have to get it taken, but I'll get that done eventually.

But speaking of photos...are any of you all photogenic? Because I'm not! LOL. There's been some interesting photos taken of me over years. Ones where I'm caught with my eyes closed, or I wonder why I had that (whatever expression it was) expression on my face! LOL. But there's people out there that just stand in front of the camera and deliver a pretty picture nearly every time! That's impressive. And not me.

In my internet travels I've noticed some very nice pictures of various bloggers put up. I sit there wondering if that was the first try or if they had to take several just to get the one. (I'd probably have to take several knowing me LOL). Did they get them down professionally or did they just have someone take their camera and shoot it?

So, tell me about your photo experiences? Are you photogenic or are you like me and have to go through several to find a good one?

Have A Snapshot Saturday!

I rarely like pictures of myself. I need to update my pictures too... My cousin and niece are photographers who I could call on to help me out. I just haven't done it yet. Still one thing on my "To do" list.

The picture you have up on your blog looks like a nice one. That's really cool that you have professional photographers in your family. We have friends who the husband and wife are professional photographers. Funny story--the husband did my senior portraits for high school, and they both (him and his wife) did my prom pictures (before we knew him) Then later on, when we got to know them he did the wedding photos for me, one of my sisters and one of my cousins. He's also done my son's baptism photos as well as some family portraits that were done earlier this year. He's really good. His website is: http://www.davidlavalley.com/ (for anyone who's looking for a photographer).

Spotlight On Author: Loretta Wheeler

Happy Tuesday Everyone, There's a gem of an author I've had the privilege of coming across...I'm talking about my friend, Loretta Wheeler. She's a sweetheart and very talented author. I enjoyed her YA Paranormal novella, The Pan Man immensely. And, she also writes Romance. So without further ado, come into my parlor and meet Loretta Wheeler: Me:  In your YA novelette, The Pan Man , you mention Pan's looking for his long lost soul mate. What made you choose Pan out of all the Greek/Roman gods and goddesses? Loretta:  I chose the Greek god Pan, because of the connection with the music. I found later on in the story, (my stories take over and write themselves usually) it applied even more than I realized because of the band's name. I won't mention the name of the band in here, because it's part of the surprise ending. Me:  You're mostly known for your Romance stories. How would you describe your writing style? Hot, suspenseful, sensual, sw...
