Pop A Cork! It's Release Day...

Happy Wednesday Everyone, Wow! Can you believe it? It's release day for Perfect Love ! Perfect Love follows after the events in the first 3 books of the Immortal Dreams series ( Divine Love, Astral Love, Immortal Love ) and picks up several years after Immortal Love. Perfect Love is Hailey, Laney's best friend's story. When I wrote the first 3 books I didn't think about Hailey's story until Immortal Love . It was then I thought, "Hmm. I don't know. I might write Hailey's story. Some time. I better give myself a jumping off point." That's where her letter to Laney near the end of the novel comes in. I needed a place for Hailey's story to start. I thought some people might pick up on it, but I didn't think it would be a big deal. Imagine my surprise when nearly every reader asked me:  "Is Hailey an Immortal? Are you going to write her story, too?" I had toyed with the idea of writing Hailey's story, but I wa...

Thank yous, WIPs(Works In Progress), & Favorite Character...

Happy Thursday All, I'm sorry I've been neglecting the blog. It seems like I haven't had too much to say that I don't already say on Facebook and/or Twitter, so I wondered if it mattered. However, I thought about it, and I figured if there were people who weren't on Facebook or Twitter, and wanted an update, then it would be a really good idea to post here. Besides, some stuff I post on the blog is too long for a Facebook update or Twitter. :-) First of all, thank you to everyone who has read and enjoyed A ll's Fair In Love & Lion . Some of you left very nice comments in a review on Amazon, and some of you have contacted me through Facebook or Twitter. You don't know how much that means to me. :-) Currently I've been working on revisions to a novel that   is the first book in a YA/New Adult Paranormal Series.  I'm also working on the Romance novel that comes after AFINL&L. The YA/New Adult novel ties in my love of Greek/Roman Myt...

Blog Tour Details, A Thank You, & Movies...

Happy Monday All (the time stamp might read Sunday, but this is actually for Monday), First of all, I got to say, thank you to everyone who commented on the Four Foxes One Hound Blog post and the Soul Mate Publishing Blog Post.  I read some of the kindest, sweetest, comments from you all and I'm truly touched, humbled, flattered, and feeling honored and privileged to have such things said about me. I really am grateful and appreciate it. So, thank you, thank you, thank you! Good news! The Blog Tour is NOT over. On July 10th (also release day!) I will visit Eat Read Rate , as guest blogger for Melissa Ohnoutka. Join me as I go into depth about my writing journey. What books did I read growing up? Why didn't I pursue a writing career when I was younger (beyond not feeling qualified)? What happened when I pitched All's Fair In Love & Lion to my editor from Soul Mate Publishing? What's the deeper story behind how AFIL&L came to be? (more in-depth than the int...

A Thank You Letter From Me...

Dear Darling Readers, First of all, I want to wish you a very happy Thursday. :-)   Second... Wow! Thank you to every last person who left a comment, emailed, texted me, talked to me on the phone, and chatted me up on Facebook about how excited y'all are over All's Fair In Love & Lion 's July release date. I am truly grateful to each of you for your enthusiasm, support, and encouragement. No author could ask for more than your joy, which only adds to my own. At this time I'm still working on the edits from my publisher. There are things I'm looking forward to revealing, but they aren't ready, yet, so you'll just have to be patient! I sincerely hope you enjoy the story when it comes out (in the right hand margin there's a small teaser blurb for the story). I really have enjoyed creating and watching this story grow and develop. So, again...THANK YOU!! Have A Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday! All my best, Bethany Averie

"I'd Like To Thank..."

Happy Friday Everyone, Before I get to today's post, want to wish fellow USA-ers a Happy 4th of July Independence Day! Have a happy and safe holiday. Now onto the topic at hand... Normally these things appear in a published book...the finished product of what we writers toil and imagine and work on for hours and days and even years at a time. But, I was thinking about a fellow NWHRWA member who recently got a short story published in Suspense Magazine and how happy I was for him. Then I got to thinking about the different "cheerleaders" in my life. The people who have encouraged, prodded, supported, laughed with me, read over my work (and listened to it) and helped me learn and helped me get on this road, that I just have to name them. (And in the comment section, you can name anyone YOU'D like to thank!) So here's my list of people, whether they'd appear in the Acknowledgements of a published story by me or not, I'm still grateful to them (in n...
