September Ends...

 Happy Friday One & All,

Today is the last day of September. In some ways this month has felt long to me, in others I'm trying to compute the idea that tomorrow is October 1st. 

I do plan on keeping my blog to about 1 post a month, which at this point is what I can handle. My real life has had some big ups and downs lately, and it takes a lot of energy to go through it all. Rest assured, the writing world is still very important to me and I'm not inactive in it, I just can't post on my blog more than about once a month at the moment.

So, where can you find me in between posts? Well, normally I'd say Facebook, but I've had a lot of trouble with it, lately. It seems my phone and computer don't like the updates so it's slower than a 2-legged turtle in molasses on my computer and refuses to operate at all on my phone (other than Messenger, which I reserve for those on my friends' list, sorry, I don't do much of communicating with folks I don't know well). However, if you're a fan of my work and you want to send me a note, I'm ALWAYS up for reader emails! I love to hear from my readers, so feel free to reach out there at bethany (dot) averie (at) gmail (dot) com. No spam or solicitations, please. (Those WILL be deleted. Rude emails will also be deleted without a response).

Most often, you can find me on Twitter. (I'm rarely on Instagram, sorry. I have one and I get on it a few times a week, but not often--Twitter I'm on pretty much every day).

Anyway, I'll post more when I do my October blog post. For now, how a Fabulously Fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Autumn Glory & More...

Happy Thursday All,

I still need to set up some kind of schedule for posting on here, but I haven't gotten there, yet, so bear with me.

It's November, and Texas is finally slowly--here and there--showing signs of Fall. We're under 90 degrees these days, which is great. Also, we're getting under 80 on some days, so that's also a good thing--yay!

Things are still moving along for the audio-book. I'm pleased with the results so far and look forward to it being completed and available to my readers.

I've started doing live videos on Facebook. What's surprised me is how much I've enjoyed it. I'm usually shy, so I wasn't sure what I would do, but I'm starting to get more comfortable with it. What I really need, though, is feedback from YOU, darling readers, to know what you want me to talk about. My narrator and I are working on an idea of Skyping and doing a live video during the Skype so that you all can meet him and ask questions about the audio book and such. He's extremely talented so I think it'll be fun. We haven't set a date for that, so stay tuned.

Next week is Thanksgiving and one of my aunts is coming into town. I'm looking forward to seeing her because we always have a good time. My dad is planning to cook and bake and he's awesome at both, so I imagine it will be a wonderful dinner.

Sinuses, Updates, & Events...

Happy Tuesday All,

The Averie Household is dealing with allergies and sinus infections. The good news:  so far the allergies are staying allergies

and relatively not too bad. Antibiotics have been gotten for sinus infection (managed to get in with doc's office on a MONDAY morning!) And offspring who has the sinus infection isn't doing too

badly.  The bad news: That we even have to deal with this when offspring suffered bad congestion for over a month not THAT long ago. Luckily, mostly cheerful and no fever. So count the blessings, right?

I'm waiting on first round edits from publisher on Immortal Dreams

Book Three: Immortal Love. We're shooting for an April 8, 2015 release date and hoping to have it ready for pre-order some time before that. April and May are most likely "hiatus" months for me (depending on how things are during those months either cut it short or lengthen it in regards to whatever the needs are at the time) from writing for various reasons, so I'll be doing as much PR ahead of time and possibly invoking some help from those around me. I'm beginning to plan ahead on this one. I'm not giving up writing, it's just with what's coming up, I know that I need to plan ahead and keep the pressure as easy as possible so I can deal with what's going on during that time. Nothing bad, but it has the potential of keeping me from writing for a time. But I do not plan to LEAVE the writing world. I'm just giving myself permission to take care of things that will need a lot of my attention during those months and possibly a little longer.

Events:  Two are coming up. First one is on February 14, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. Central Time. If you're in the Houston, Texas area and want to come hear me do a reading of a passage from one of my novels, check out Writespace's "A Night Of Love and Letters" for details.

The second event is on February 26, 2015 at 7pm Central/8pm Eastern until 8pm Central / 9pm Eastern on Facebook. I'll be on the Two Chicks And A Dude Reviews Facebook page talking about my novels and probably doing at least one (if not more) giveaway. To find out more, go to the event page I made on Facebook.

Other than that, I'm doing a lot of reading and trying to get back to writing on some of my other projects.

IMMORTAL DREAMS Trilogy Updates & More...

Happy Thursday All,

It seems like ages since I wrote an update. There's been some things in my real life, and some things in my writing life that have meant that I didn't get on here to do any updates. Real life is just busyness--nothing bad, for which I can only send up a prayer of gratitude to God. As for writing, been working on a WIP (Work In Progress) and some other stuff pertaining to the Immortal Dreams Trilogy.

Speaking of which...are you ready? Here we go...

1.  I got an email from my publisher. Looks like Immortal Dreams Book One: Divine Love will release June 18th. It's possible it MIGHT get pushed back to June 25th, but we're shooting for the 18th. (And yes, the 18th is only 2 weeks away *smiles*).

2. All THREE novels in the Trilogy have cover art! Yes, you read that right. About 1-2 days ago sent an email to the cover art department for my publisher saying I liked the revised cover art for

Book Three, so I'm just waiting to hear back from them that everything is finalized on Book Three's cover art.  Book Two's cover art has been finalized.

I'm not sure when I'll do Book Two and Three cover art reveals. That's something I'm still working out.


I'm working on some promotional ideas and some things that I'm thinking will be exclusively available on Facebook. I haven't completely decided about that, yet. Might be up on Twitter, too, but I'm not positive. My author Facebook page is currently the best way to keep up with my updates. Either that or find me on Twitter.
