Happy Monday Everybody! 2019 has been rather busy for me so far. I've been working on finishing up a novel that I'm hoping will be done writing by early March and then I'll go through and do my personal edits, send it off to my assistant who has been clamoring to read this one (I send her snippets and she's chomping at the bit for the rest). I'm working with a consultant to brush up on some things that I needed help with and gearing up for BrazCon, which is this weekend. BrazCon will be in Manvel, Texas this year . I've never been there, but it's not extremely far off, so my assistant is picking me up bright and early and off we'll go. I've got some fun swag ready and I'll have a door prize that I'll turn into to the people running that side of things. Happy Friday Folks, Well my household is doing much better in terms of health, so I am ready to do a happy dance. I'm feeling quite a bit better, myself, so I'm really happy about that! I'm learning Twitter...slowly, but kinda getting the hang of it. But don't worry I'm not quitting the blog posts. Like I said, just super busy until after the Lone Star Conference --which by the way, if you're a writer, you're invited! I am waiting with baited breath, excitement and impatience for September 27th! That's when Kerrelyn Sparks' newest Love At Stake book, Sexiest Vampire Alive is released. This is Gregori's story. He's my favorite vamp (the Vamps are the nickname for good vampires--Malcontents are the bad guys--fitting, huh?) This weekend I'm hanging out with my NWHRWA buddies. Happy Friday All, Wow...it's already Friday? Hard to believe. Edits are coming along pretty well, which I'm very happy about. Next week is an official book review and I'm working hard to get done reading the book (which is really good by the way, just got several things going on as well, so it takes time). Found out recently (because I made it to that side of the Internet) Tess St. John posted an excerpt of Eyes Of Jade . The cover is really awesome, so I recommend taking a cyberspace trip out that direction to check it out. Christie Craig has her book signing coming up (August 27, 2011). I talked about this sometime ago in this post . Don't forget to register for the Lone Star Conference ! God willing I'll be there--3rd year (yeah that's how much I like it). Happy Wednesday All, Congratulations to Tess on being the winner of yesterday's C.C. Hunter giveaway ! Thank you to everyone who participated in the drawing and a special thank you to C.C. for donating a copy of Born At Midnight for that drawing. So...here's the scoop... We got some awesome, awesome stuff in the works. C.C. Hunter's Born At Midnight and Kerrelyn Sparks' Vampire Mine both come out on March 29th.  April is going to see another official review (can't reveal just yet the author or the novel) and another author interview (not revealing that author's name on here, yet, either). Plus I'm going to be plugging a new website, and gearing up for a huge give away for probably some time in May (this give away is massive!) I'm working on my own novels, of course. Happy Thursday All, Normally I'd post earlier in the day, but blog post ideas were eluding me (gotta love that word "elude"). My goal this year for the blog is not only to report on author things abounding around us (and my progress/processes) but also to spoil my readers (and myself). I'm working on lining up something that's a treat, but I'm not going to say what it is--it's a surprise, but I'm practically giddy about it.
