June 2017 Release Cover Reveal...

Happy Thursday Darling Readers, Immortals, Humans, & all,

In June of this year, my 5th published book, Perfect Love (#4 in the Immortal Dreams series) will release. This is Hailey (Laney's best friend) and Arion's (Cupid & Psyche's son) story.

Originally, I figured more time would pass before I could write Hailey's book. I always wanted to, which is why Immortal Love ends the way it does. I was surprised when readers started asking me about it. I kept getting requests such as "You're going to write Hailey's story, right?" "Is Hailey an Immortal?"

I'd been toying with ideas, and I realized I wasn't ready to say goodbye to everybody. So, I sat down and thought about it. What resulted is a story about emotions, and relationships, rather than straight adventure or straight romance. It's about how one deals with expectations, loss, and new experiences. How Hailey deals with Laney's lies, different relationships, and meeting someone like Arion.

To answer the question, Hailey is FULLY human. No, that does NOT ruin the story, in fact, that's not a secret, nor a surprise. It's established early on in the novel that she is fully human. This plays into her and Arion's story.

You're probably asking yourself, is this a cover reveal a rundown about the novel?

So, without FURTHER ado...

I present to you the cover for Perfect Love...

I think it's gorgeous, don't you? The amazingly talented Fiona Jayde (who has made all my covers so far) is the cover artist.

Have A Thrillingly Terrific Thursday!

Are You Embraced?

Happy Tuesday One & All,

So, are you all ready? Today I have an official blog book review for you...the very first one of 2017. Pretty cool, huh? I think so, anyway.

This one came about when I requested the ARC of her upcoming book one of her new series. I agreed to do a review in exchange for the ARC (Advanced Readers Copy).

When March 2017 hits, readers and Kerrelyn Sparks fans will embark on a brand new journey into a Fantasy Romance.

Kerrelyn weaves a world of imagination, magic, adventure, suspense, danger, intrigue, and romance. As always, her story is well-mapped out and she handles the details well.

Lord Leofric (Leo) is an interesting leading man--he can be hit and survive a lightning strike, while absorbing the power and in turn, wielding it for his own purposes. Unfortunately, he can't TOUCH anyone.

Luciana's character arc takes the journey of her taking a step that looks brave, and showing her actually becoming determined and brave. She's no "Mary Sue" or "damsel in distress".  Sure, she can be rescued, but she's also going to rescue the hero in the process. And she learns How To Tame A Beast In Seven Days.

I can see readers and fans embracing (pardon the pun) Kerrelyn Sparks' new The Embraced series.

How To Tame A Beast In Seven Days will be on sale in March, but you can pre-order it on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Now I just have to wait until August to see what happens next!

Have A Tremendously Terrific Tuesday!

At Long Last...COVER REVEAL!

Happy Thursday & Friday All,

Because of editing, I won't be posting again this week. However, I did promise something special, and I'm delivering.

As you all know, the Immortal Dreams Trilogy is coming to a close. (please don't cry!) Book One, Divine Love, and Book Two, Astral Love, are both available on Amazon Kindle. I'm hoping Divine Love will go to paperback hopefully soon, but I don't know when.

I've enjoyed taking this journey. Laney and Jason have become like old friends to me. And, I think they complement each other well. Jason encourages Laney's strength and bravery, and she keeps him grounded and gives him a reason to be heroic.

Which is good, because in Book Three, they're going to need each other. I mean, they seriously, really will, without-a-doubt, need each other.  I've thrown everything I could come up with at these two in this final installment and they refuse to give up. No matter what they're facing, no matter how frustrated they get, they keep going. That's one of the things I love about them.

So, drum roll and cymbals please!

Introducing the cover art for the final installment of the Immortal Dreams Trilogy! I give you Immortal Dreams, Book Three: Immortal Love:

Isn't it awesome? I love it.

Look carefully at the bottom. Doesn't that look ominous? Fiona Jayde has once again done a fantastic job. I've loved all the covers she's made for each of the novels. And, this one definitely embodies what Laney and Jason face.

So far, it looks like Immortal Love will release March of 2015. I'll let you know if anything changes. Unfortunately, due to several things, the date had to be pushed back from January. I apologize, but sometimes things happen. And well...this time, a lot of things I hadn't bargained on, happened. Not necessarily really bad, but they did get in the way of things moving as fast as I originally planned. (And yes, it was all on me--not my publisher's fault. Although, my publisher has been incredibly understanding and patient with me, for which I'm most grateful--they know I'm pregnant and the pregnancy played a huge role in putting me behind schedule).

I'm a little sad to say goodbye to Laney and Jason. But, you never know...maybe someday I'll revisit my Immortals. But I'm going to take a little break. You see, there is a particular project that I've never seemed able to finish writing in nearly 6 years (And if any of my Girls' Night Out ladies are reading this--DO NOT SAY ANYTHING! Yes, it's the one you're thinking of, but I'm not revealing the story right now). It's become clear it's time to try and finish it. I've had the illustrious Tess St. John and some of friends begging for me to finish this novel, and I think I've kept everyone waiting long enough. So I'm going to work on that one. This time, hopefully I'll actually FINISH the novel, then it can be edited, critiqued, and hopefully one day...published!

Thank you to all my loyal and enthusiastic readers for joining me thus far. Hang on, because just because the Trilogy is coming to an

end does NOT mean this is the end. You never know what next I'll come up with next. There are many things brewing in my head and I can't wait to see where they take me. :-)

And yes, I'll be doing more blog posts at some point, just not this week. Maybe even a giveaway or two in the (near) future. You'll just have to wait and see!

Have A Thrillingly Twinkly Thursday and A Fabulously Festive Friday! Also, enjoy your weekend.

Are You Ready For More Della?

Happy Friday All,

There is a ton going on in the Averie Household (both real life and writing life) including an upcoming release of mine, but I did want to give you all a little taste of what a fellow writer friend of mine has cooking and that's my pal and awesome writer, C.C. Hunter!

Those of you who are fans of the Shadow Falls series will remember she's taken on a new challenge in writing sassy vampire, Della Tsang's stories in Shadow Falls After Dark, Reborn.

But that wasn't the end of the story. The story continues in Eternal...

Life of a teenager is never simple. And when you're a vampire reborn  dealing with family drama, boys, and your dream job (which just happens to be filled with danger) your plate is full. Add a ghost demanding you find a girl named Natasha who may or may
not be alive, you get Della's life.

Della finds it hard to balance out her regular life, but her love life isn't any better. Then comes the bomb from Steve, which throws her into an emotional turmoil.

But waiting in the wings is her partner on the case, Chase, and Chase is definitely interested, and Della can't deny there's a certain level of interest on her end, too.

However, she has more than romance, or whatever is between her and Chase on her mind. Namely figuring out who Natasha is, keeping Burnett from having a coronary about her plans, and saying a final goodbye to her cousin, Chan.

Add hunting down a lead, and a ticking clock and you got yourself knee-deep in one action-filled adventure.

Eternal hits the shelves on October 28, 2014.

Have A Fang-tastically Fabulous Friday!

It's June, It's June, It's June...
