The Parade Keeps Marching On...

Congratulations to Tess on being the winner of yesterday's C.C. Hunter giveaway! Thank you to everyone who participated in the drawing and a special thank you to C.C. for donating a copy of Born At Midnight for that drawing.

So...here's the scoop...

We got some awesome, awesome stuff in the works. C.C. Hunter's Born At Midnight and Kerrelyn Sparks' Vampire Mine both come out on March 29th. 

April is going to see another official review (can't reveal just yet the author or the novel) and another author interview (not revealing that author's name on here, yet, either). Plus I'm going to be plugging a new website, and gearing up for a huge give away for probably some time in May (this give away is massive!)

I'm working on my own novels, of course. Buffing, polishing, writing, brainstorming.

Okay, today's question: (in light of yesterday's review) which do you prefer: shape shifters or vampires?

Personally, I generally prefer a shape-shifter, as I believe that (most?) werewolves are under a curse and don't relish it. Vampires seem to either ask to be turned, embrace their fate or become extremely jaded...my 2 cents, anyway!

There's several people in the world who feel the same way as you.

Personally, I think some reinventions are very clever and inventive--but that's the cool thing about the paranormal genre--there's pretty much something for everyone :-)

Happy Tuesday Everyone, Does anyone remember the song If I Had A Million Dollars by Barenaked Ladies ? I can't remember when or how I was first introduced to this song, but it's a fun song. So, how about if you had a million dollars? What would you do with it? Of course there's the responsible things to do with a million dollars--pay off debts, and such like that. Then there's the question of whether or not you give to charities, and how much. But, suppose you answered all those questions and you still had quite a lot left; what would you do with it? Maybe I'd go to Disney World. I've wanted to go, and I've never been able to. Or, perhaps I'd go to Germany and England, and Belgium (three of the countries my ancestors are from). Travel around seeing family and friends I don't see often. There's all kinds of possibilities. So, what about you? What would you do with a million dollars? Have A Tremendous Tuesday!

It's All About August..

  Hi Everyone! End of August is coming up, and thus, it's time for a monthly update from yours truly. Currently, I'm waiting on some responses on queries for Sugar & Frost . There's been a bit more interest since #UnhingedPit and #questpit, so that's great. I love this story so much, that I'm happy with other people get interested. As far as I'm concerned, it's a fun read. I call it the "book of my heart" because it's just exactly something I'd pick up as a reader and cuddle up with a comfy blanket in a chair, couch, or in bed, with something hot to drink and just enjoy. I also dedicated it to my siblings, so there is a personal aspect to it, too. Other manuscripts:  Moonrise Pack: Shifter Secrets (YA Fantasy, wolf shifters, sweet romance) is in edits--I finally sat down and started working on it. Spotlight On Author: Loretta Wheeler

Happy Tuesday Everyone, There's a gem of an author I've had the privilege of coming across...I'm talking about my friend, Loretta Wheeler. She's a sweetheart and very talented author. I enjoyed her YA Paranormal novella, The Pan Man immensely. And, she also writes Romance. So without further ado, come into my parlor and meet Loretta Wheeler: Me:  In your YA novelette, The Pan Man , you mention Pan's looking for his long lost soul mate. What made you choose Pan out of all the Greek/Roman gods and goddesses? Loretta:  I chose the Greek god Pan, because of the connection with the music. I found later on in the story, (my stories take over and write themselves usually) it applied even more than I realized because of the band's name.
