Conference Time!

Happy Wednesday Everyone,

There's a lot of people gearing up for Conferences. Romance Writers Of America (RWA)--the writers' group I'm a member of, is hosting it's annual conference in New York City this year. Unfortunately, I will have to miss it, but I know several people from my chapter are going, many of the authors I've mentioned here (I don't know all who are going, I don't have the final count, but several of them are).

My friend and fabulous author, Jane Heller was talking about on her blog, Mainly Jane about a conference she's attending, the Santa Barbara Writers Conference.

In the Fall, I plan to attend the annual NWHRWA Lone Star Conference (October 15, 2011).

So are you attending a writer's conference? If so, which one?

No writer's conference but a quick trip to North Carolina has turned into a real family reunion with a two coming in from other states to see me and my sister (and her daughter). One, I have never met in person; the others, we have not seen in many many years...(longer than you have been on Earth, Bethany!)Our last aunt will be there. Then , we will visit our cousin from my mother's side.We were close as kids, but we have not seen her in a long time.I only know her husband and children from phone conversations. So if you don't hear from me until next week, you'll know why...I have a good reason.
"See" you when I get back!

Tonette,

I hope you have a wonderful time with your family. I used to love family reunions. When I was a kid, we'd go up north (to Michigan) every year and hang out with both sides of the family. One of my Dad's sisters (and her husband) own a lake house that used to belong to my grandfather so they'd host family get-togethers, buffet-style dinners and swimming and boat rides out there (still do it, but we don't get up there every year).

Hey now, I haven't given my actual age on here, and I'm not sure I told you what my age is so don't go assuming LOL

Perhaps in the Fall you can come on down for the Lone Star Conference, that would be cool. We always have a blast. Thank you for dropping by and have a safe and good trip :-)

It can be ANY vampire--but like I said, it would be really cool if you mention a Kerrelyn Sparks' vampire. You don't know Kerrelyn Spa...
