I'm Not Gone...

Happy Friday All,

*EDIT as of 10:50 a.m. (Central Time):  I forgot to mention tomorrow (Saturday, August 27, 2011) is Christie Craig's booksigning for her new release. I wrote a post about this awhile back. Please, if you can make it, go and support her.

Whew, what a week! This has been a week of appointments and all kinds of things going on. My body decided I needed to relax so I had to make sure I did that. But the good news is, it looks like I'm finally getting more to where I want to be.

Edits are coming along. I finished my round of edits and now have gotten started on the ones from my critique partner.

I got my registration mailed out for the Lone Star Conference and reserved my hotel room...yay! So, God willing, I definitely will be there. (For those of you going to the conference and wanting to reserve a hotel room, just click here: http://www.nwhrwa.com/conference.htm ).

Anyway, I know I've been away for several days...I have a lot going on but I should be around more soon.

So, what's going on with you?

Have A Fabulous Friday!

Glad you were able to step back and regain your energy, Bethany.
What's up with me is my HOUSE! I am finally getting pictures down , cleaning done, holes patched and sanded, getting ready to paint. It will be a long process, as there is much to move and the rest of family life going on, (esp.with grandson's care and activities...Cub Scout popcorn sales coming up!)
I had been working hard on a story which keeps getting longer and longer. I may need a break from it,though, before I put in too much a ruin it...it's always a choice, right? I roughed it out into a story, it was complete but hollow; now, I hope I am not doing over-kill. But,with the break I'm getting and when the surroundiongs start shaping up,I'll feel better about writing..although...it's rather like and itch, isn't it?The drive to write rather nags to be tended to!
Have a great weekend!

It's Worth A Fortune

Happy Tuesday Everyone, Does anyone remember the song If I Had A Million Dollars by Barenaked Ladies ? I can't remember when or how I was first introduced to this song, but it's a fun song. So, how about if you had a million dollars? What would you do with it? Of course there's the responsible things to do with a million dollars--pay off debts, and such like that. Then there's the question of whether or not you give to charities, and how much. But, suppose you answered all those questions and you still had quite a lot left; what would you do with it? Maybe I'd go to Disney World. I've wanted to go, and I've never been able to. Or, perhaps I'd go to Germany and England, and Belgium (three of the countries my ancestors are from). Travel around seeing family and friends I don't see often. There's all kinds of possibilities. So, what about you? What would you do with a million dollars? Have A Tremendous Tuesday!

It's All About August..

Hi Everyone! End of August is coming up, and thus, it's time for a monthly update from yours truly. Currently, I'm waiting on some responses on queries for Sugar & Frost . There's been a bit more interest since #UnhingedPit and #questpit, so that's great. I love this story so much, that I'm happy with other people get interested. As far as I'm concerned, it's a fun read. I call it the "book of my heart" because it's just exactly something I'd pick up as a reader and cuddle up with a comfy blanket in a chair, couch, or in bed, with something hot to drink and just enjoy. I also dedicated it to my siblings, so there is a personal aspect to it, too. Other manuscripts:  Moonrise Pack: Shifter Secrets (YA Fantasy, wolf shifters, sweet romance) is in edits--I finally sat down and started working on it. I'm not very far along in the editing, yet, but hopeful about polishing it. I had made a poster for it for #PosterPit since they allow W...

I was planning to last Friday, but unfortunately my computer had issues. She is incredibly nice, funny, encouraging and a delight to be around. You, my dear readers, have a special treat today. Not only do you get this awesome interview to read, but if you leave a comment in the comment section (with your first name and email address--I won't be able to contact you if you're the winner if you don't leave your email address) I'll put your name and email address in my contest box for Friday night's drawing for a chance to win Kerrelyn Sparks' Be Still My Vampire Heart .
