Happy Monday (or Tuesday, since it's already evening time on Monday),

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was pretty nice. Offspring had something on Saturday morning, so we went to that, then relaxed (slept) in the afternoon. Church on Sunday, then visit with one of my in-laws. Then, during the day on Sunday got email from publisher saying my novel would be out this week after all! I was so excited.

Well...I'm even more excited, because I got such a wonderful surprise today! I found out that Immortal Dreams Book Two: Astral Love is actually available NOW!

Are You Ready For More Della?

Happy Friday All,

There is a ton going on in the Averie Household (both real life and writing life) including an upcoming release of mine, but I did want to give you all a little taste of what a fellow writer friend of mine has cooking and that's my pal and awesome writer, C.C. Hunter!

Those of you who are fans of the Shadow Falls series will remember she's taken on a new challenge in writing sassy vampire, Della Tsang's stories in Shadow Falls After Dark, Reborn.

But that wasn't the end of the story. The story continues in Eternal...

Life of a teenager is never simple. And when you're a vampire reborn  dealing with family drama, boys, and your dream job (which just happens to be filled with danger) your plate is full. Add a ghost demanding you find a girl named Natasha who may or may

not be alive, you get Della's life.

Della finds it hard to balance out her regular life, but her love life isn't any better. Then comes the bomb from Steve, which throws her into an emotional turmoil.

But waiting in the wings is her partner on the case, Chase, and Chase is definitely interested, and Della can't deny there's a certain level of interest on her end, too.

However, she has more than romance, or whatever is between her and Chase on her mind. Namely figuring out who Natasha is, keeping Burnett from having a coronary about her plans, and saying a final goodbye to her cousin, Chan.

Add hunting down a lead, and a ticking clock and you got yourself knee-deep in one action-filled adventure.

Eternal hits the shelves on October 28, 2014.

Sorry for posting this blog post so late in the day. I had a very hectic weekend--had to finish up my 2nd round edits of Immortal Dreams Book Two, Astral Love, and Sunday was booked solid. Today I took some time to recuperate a little bit from all the busyness. Birthday Week, ASTRAL LOVE, New Releases & More...

Happy Monday Everybody,

It's my birthday week...did you know that? And yes, I may be over 30, but I STILL get excited about my birthday (which is Wednesday, the 15th). I'm hoping to do something special for my readers that day, but we'll see.

There is A LOT going on in my life. Currently working on 2nd

round edit read through for my publisher on Book Two in the Immortal Dreams Trilogy, Astral Love, which is supposed to release on October 28th. So yes, there's a lot of "I need to get this done!" going on in my head. I'm excited about the Trilogy continuing and hoping that my readers enjoy this next installment. It took me on quite an adventure.

On October 4th I attended my chapter's Lone Star Writer's

Conference, which happens every year. I had a lot of fun. My editor was in town and so I got to spend some time chatting with her, talking about my progress and everything that's been going on. She was very kind about everything and encouraging, which was wonderful.

Bob Mayer and Jen Talty did a wonderful job with their presentations, and Bob presented an interesting idea on how to set up goal and motivation for the protagonist and antagonist. A different way of looking at things.

The Make-Your-Own Sundae Bar, which was a new thing this year, was a big hit! Many people exclaimed how excited they were

that there was Blue Bell Ice Cream available (a well-known brand of ice cream in Texas--with its headquarters here in the Lone Star State). I did, in fact, indulge in one with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Yum. (Sorry no pictures of that!)

Also, I will be posting my review of an upcoming October release...I don't know if it'll be before or after the novel comes out, but it's a C.C. Hunter novel--take a guess which one...it's a surprise.

I know it's only October, but I'm one of those goofy people who is looking forward to Christmas. In fact, I actually have to start my shopping early--well, hopefully get to this year, there's A LOT going on, as I've said, so we'll see how early a jump I get. Generally I start in September.

Offspring has Halloween costume, so we're all set for the big October Holiday. Offspring is very excited because once again there is Trick-Or-Treating with some cousins, so lots of excitement there.

Pal of mine, author SC Montgomery has a debut YA out, Lines In The Sand, which you can find on Amazon and Barnes & Noble for your reading pleasure.

Also, another author friend of mine, Judythe Morgan, has a new novel out, Claiming Annie's Heart. You can find it on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

I'm a bit late posting this blog post--make that about 2 days late. I meant to post this on the release day or the day before, but I've been so swamped lately that the days "got away from me" so to speak.

It's October! Time For Updates...

Happy Wednesday All,

Also, a very happy October to everybody! October is one of my favorite months. Okay, I'm going to come across as biased, but my birthday is in October and I've always loved my birthday--yeah, I'm over 30, but who cares? It's my special day and I get to celebrate it...even though this year it's on a Wednesday (not today, a different Wednesday). But never mind! I will be celebrating!

Currently I'm gearing up for the NWHRWA Lone Star Writer's Conference, which is featuring keynote speaker Bob Mayer, and special guest, Jen Talty. I always look forward to the NWHRWA conference. It's an opportunity to hang out with all my writing pals and meet new ones. Also, this year, my publisher is coming down, so it'll be a new (and I'm thinking fun) experience to see my publisher as one of their authors rather than someone who they didn't know.

Another way I'm celebrating is by being a guest on author Anne B.

Cole's blog. I'm talking about 5 secrets of Divine Love, plus much, much more...so I hope you all will visit me there.

The other thing is, Astral Love is supposed to release this month. I'm hoping it still will, I haven't heard back from my publisher on an exact date, but I'll let you all know. A friend of mine is especially looking forward to the release of this book--not only because she loved Divine Love, and is ready for Book Two, but because Astral Love is dedicated to her! You'll have to wait until the release to find out who and what I say about her.

I'm working on writing Book Three of my Immortal Dreams

Trilogy. I'll be doing a cover reveal soon I imagine. I haven't figured out exactly when I'll do that, but I believe before December. I love all my covers, but this one...well, I'll explain when I do the reveal.
