I'm Back, Did You Miss Me?

Happy Tuesday All,

Sorry for the long silence. Last week husband had off and I don't post on the weekends and Monday I was getting used to the usual schedule after the weekend.

I'm doing all right. Friday I went out with 3 of my best gal-pals and we had a blast. A lot of laughter and fun. I didn't get home until almost 2 a.m. I never thought I'd stay out that late--we didn't do a lot...mostly hung out at Starbucks, then at one of the ladies' apartment. But it was still fun and we all agreed we had to do that again (although I'm hoping that I'd get home before 2 a.m. next time LOL). Trust me, me being out that late is very unusual.

I'm so behind on scheduling my blog! I still need to email some people and see what I can figure out for this year. But don't worry, I'll get it pulled together.

I finished an ARC for an official blog review that will be posted in March and the novel is also releasing in March. I'm very excited about it and I'm looking forward to posting it. But I'm not telling what it is! You'll just have to wait and see.

So what's one question you'd want to ask one of your favorite authors?

Have A Terrific Tuesday!

I am sooo glad that all is more-than-well, Bethany! I am beginning to realize that having a good time is more and more important to one's health in every manner...you out to drop a note so we don't worry about you, though!
My one question has been'How do you manage your time? That is where I fall down.Everyone and everything needs, needs , needs and my writing just doesn't get done.
(One famous author told me that one of her tiolets didn't see a brush for 3 years while she got her first big book out).
Hey,I just got the go-ahead to write an article for a national magazine...wish me luck and pray that my confidence does not give out on me...and that I pluck-up and take the time to do it right!

Tonette,

Yeah, I do need to let everyone know when I'm going to be MIA. I apologize for making you worry.

Time management is a question every author has--and at any given time it can mean anything.

That is awesome about the article! Congratulations and best wishes! I'm sure you'll do great--let me know when it's out.

Thank you so much for dropping by :-)

Get Thee A Nom De Plume!

Good Evening One & All, Shakespeare wrote in Romeo & Juliet, "What's in a name?...A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Disney talked about names in Aladdin in the lyrics, "Better get a nom de plume ." (the song, "One Jump"). So, for a writer, what does a nom de plume (or, pen name) say about the author? It could be a different spelling of the author's name, it could be a name that has a significance. They could keep their first name, but change the last, or change both. A pen name is also the name a writer will write under for his or her books. The name that his or her readers will recognize them. The name on the autographs and the one where people will say, "Oh yes, that's so and so, they wrote..." Some authors write under their own names. Others, for a variety of reasons, choose a pen name. What about you? Are you considering a pen name? What have you looked at when thinking of your nom de plume ? For myself, I&
