Take Off On A Dream Trip

Happy Tuesday All,

Sorry for the late posts. We've had a friend over the last couple of days and so I've been spending time with her.

I put some Oreos in the freezer, per my illustrious C.P. (Tess St. John) recommendation. I haven't tried them, yet, but I plan to, soon.

Thursday I'll have an author interview and giveaway of an adult Romance--brand new release. I hope all of you will drop by and have peek.

Do you have a pipe dream vacation (that may or may not come true one day)? My husband and I are hoping to go back to St. Croix (USA Virgin Islands) during the year of our 10th wedding anniversary. We went there on our honeymoon and had a blast. The water was awesome, pristine beaches, and we fell in love with a French-Mediterranean Restaurant (there's something about fresh Seafood, with little white lights on a patio that just makes for great atmosphere and eating experience).

So what about you? Do you have a dream vacation? If so, where?

Have A Terrific Tuesday!

Always wanted to go to the British Isles. I've read a lot of history and literature from or about those places and would love to see them ... someday. It would have to be the warmest month, however.
There are parts of Italy that always look beautiful in movies, but I wouldn't want to deal with language issues.

Yeah, Jeff, that is good.Ireland, especially...I don't know if I could leave there, though.
I have always wanted to go to Italy, where my mother's family comes from..but a friend in India sent HIS dream vacation spot in the south of India where his family comes from...BEAUTIFUL.
I missed a chance at the Islands when I was young and single, Bethany...it would be beautiful now, but a different trip...no sun, no bathing suit!

Get Thee A Nom De Plume!

Good Evening One & All, Shakespeare wrote in Romeo & Juliet, "What's in a name?...A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Disney talked about names in Aladdin in the lyrics, "Better get a nom de plume ." (the song, "One Jump"). So, for a writer, what does a nom de plume (or, pen name) say about the author? It could be a different spelling of the author's name, it could be a name that has a significance. They could keep their first name, but change the last, or change both. A pen name is also the name a writer will write under for his or her books. The name that his or her readers will recognize them. The name on the autographs and the one where people will say, "Oh yes, that's so and so, they wrote..." Some authors write under their own names. Others, for a variety of reasons, choose a pen name. What about you? Are you considering a pen name? What have you looked at when thinking of your nom de plume ? For myself, I&
